Work Description – Asset Transfer Intern

Job Purpose:

This position is primarily ensuring that all completed loans or transfers are closed. The Asset Transfer Intern must update and support clients and staff in executing an effective transfer process that will be successfully transferred in time.

Key Specific Duties include:

1. Engaging clients on the requirements such Active TIN number, Clear ID.

2. Submission of physical documents to URA officer for transfer completion.

3. Assistance Watu Recovery officer in providing requested logbooks via Email.

4. Closely follow-up on progress of transferred logbooks whether the transfer is completed in required timeline.

5. Informing the client when the logbooks are ready for collection from URA offices.

6. Accurately following status in MIFOS and updating google sheet at all times and legal status in MIFOS for reported and completed loan/sold on cash motorcycles.

7. Updating clients on the status of their logbooks to ensure that they are fully updated on every step and any feedback regarding their claims.

8. Any other duty as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

· First Degree in the following fields: Diploma/ Degree in Customer Service, Social Sciences,
Hospitality, Communication or related studies and any other Business related course.

· No prior experience is required; however, previous experience in customer service (at least one year) with knowledge in the microfinance/asset finance industry is considered an advantage.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.

· Ability to adapt quickly and work independently.

· Good Computer skills.
